Who was St. Lawrence?
 
On Monday 21st October Viscount Leverhulme Council met at Ridgmont House Horwich.

The District Prefect who is a member of the Council was welcomed by the Master Ken Hickson.

The District Prefect Paul Snape thanked Ken for his welcome then settled back for an enjoyable and educational night of Allied Masonry.
 
The main attraction was an informative talk about St Lawrence the Martyr, this well researched paper was presented by the Council DC, Ray Pye.

At the conclusion of business, the District Grand Prefect thanked everyone for their attendance, and then offered his thanks to Ray Pye for the work he had carried out preparing such an enlightening paper.

In reply the Master Ken Hickson thanked the District Grand Prefect for his generous comments, and then he thanked everyone present for their support and encouragement.
 
In conclusion the Worshipful Master then invited all present to join him at dinner.
