West Lancs visit Derby
 
On a bright Saturday morning in mid August a party of Brethren from all parts of West Lancashire made an early start to venture into the District of East Midlands to attend their District meeting, the meeting was held at the Masonic Hall, Littleover, Derby.

On arrival they were welcomed by Steve Barratt the District Grand Prefect, following the welcome they were able to meet friends and share a welcome cup of tea together with a plentiful supply of biscuits and Bacon Barmcakes.

Leading the deputation was the DGP Paul Snape; he was accompanied by the Dept.DGP Mark Barton, and seven other West Lancs Brethren.

During the meeting Steve Barratt thanked everyone for their attendance, making particular reference to the large contingent of visiting Brethren from all parts of England and Wales.

Following the meeting the party were able to enjoy the warm sunshine and some liquid refreshment in the  company of friends from both the District of East Midlands and other Districts visiting the meeting.

Following the excellent three course Banquet the party made their way back to Lancashire, all looking forward to the next happy outing.
