On a bright Saturday morning in mid October a party of Brethren from West Lancashire joined around 100 Allied Masons in the District of Thames Valley to attend their District meeting, prior to which would be the Installation of a new District Grand Prefect. | |

Arriving at South Oxford Masonic Hall they were welcomed by Bob Chevin the District Grand Prefect Designate, following the welcome they were able to meet friends and share a welcome cup of tea together with a plentiful supply of biscuits and Bacon Barmcakes. | |

Following his Installation, the Dist.G.Pref. appointed, invested and Installed W.Bro. Simon Russell Gillas as his Deputy and then held a short District meeting to make further appoints of District Grand Officers. | |

At the conclusion of the meeting all those attending were able to enjoy the warm sunshine and liquid refreshment before enjoying a three course Lunch. | |
