On Monday 7th. February a goodly number of Allied Masonic Degrees Masons assembled in Poulton le Fylde to attend the regular meeting of Council on the Fylde. The meeting was held in the Masonic Hall in the morning and what a busy morning it turned out to be. | ||

The Council was opened at 11.00am by the Worshipful Master Brother Brian Burgess-Dicks and welcomed into the Council The Right Worshipful District Grand Prefect Graham Paul Snape, a regular visitor to the Council. The District Grand Prefect was saluted to which he suitable responded, Right Worshipful Brother Douglas John Forster Past Grand Junior Warden, a member of the Council was also saluted. | ||
After a few items of an administrative nature the next item on the agenda was to Introduce, Receive and Admit Brother Chris Sage as a member of the Council. The Worshipful Master invited Worshipful Brother Ernie Gavan Past Grand Standard Bearer to occupy the master’s Chair to conduct the Ceremony of St. Lawrence the Martyr. The District Grand Prefect, Worshipful Master and Brother Gavan welcomed Brother Sage to Council on the Fylde and the Allied Masonic Degrees in general and having the foresight to join such an excellent Order. | ||

The Worshipful Master returned to his rightful place and the Degree of St. Lawrence the Martyr was adjourned and the Degree of Knights of Constantinople opened. Brother Tom Egan and Brother Chris Sage were admitted into the degree by the Worshipful Master. | ||
The Degree of St. Lawrence the Martyr was resumed and items of any other business was completed. | ||
The Worshipful Master closed the Council and the Brethren retired to the dining room for Brunch, something between breakfast and lunch in fact a late breakfast, which was enjoyed by all. After the toasts wee suitable responded to the Brethren made their way home another morning of Allied Masonry over. | ||
